2) Seeing and hearing your daughter wave goodbye and brag to her classmates: “That’s my daddy!”
3) Being able to pray and eat together as a family during mealtimes.
4) Hearing somebody say “thanks” or getting some form of appreciation for something good you did for them.
5) Knowing that despite how gloomy and dark the day is, you know that the sun is still shining bright up there, giving its life-giving warmth to the earth and all its inhabitants.
6) Knowing the value of understanding and wisdom.
7) Knowing the value of gratefulness and thanksgiving.
8) Knowing that conflicts, while unpleasant, are essential stepping stones to personal growth and development.
9) Knowing that justice still matters.
10) Knowing that despite everything, there is a God who loves and cares for you and is doing all He can to make things better for everyone else.
I challenge you to come up with better things than these. J
